Job summary

Job description
Assistant Manager, Stakeholder Communications & Engagement

Develop a deep understanding of the social service sector, target audiences and the operating environment to ensure that content and publicity across all channels are well-aligned and support the organisation’s goals

Have a good understanding of local media and the social media landscape

Identify and leverage media/press opportunities for story-pitching and creating awareness of CDAC’s programmes

Review and implement social media strategies and best practices in the industry

Build and maintain a comprehensive media and stakeholder database and monitor media coverage and sentiment to inform communication strategies.

Manage social media platforms and CDAC’s website to engage stakeholders, ensure accuracy and timeliness of content, and promote traffic on these platforms

Plan and craft media invites, media releases, and manage media requests and queries.

Craft messages and speeches for CDAC publications and key events.

Liaise with internal stakeholders to create and develop content and insights

Support cross-departmental collaboration by facilitating and documenting knowledge sharing, discussing communication challenges, and suggesting improvements.

Qualification & Experience

Diploma in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

At least 4-5 years’ experience in a similar internal communications role, preferably, but not a must, in the non-profit or social services sector.

Excellent written and verbal English and Chinese communication skills, with strong writing, editing, and content creation abilities.

Able to work independently and in a team, with good interpersonal and communication skills

Able to manage projects independently, work collaboratively, and maintain attention to detail in all communications.

Proficiency with internet tools and digital communication systems.
