The Assistant Manager / Senior Assistant Manager in the NUHS@Home Corporate Office – Strategy and Planning plays a critical role in supporting long-term strategic direction and integrated planning efforts. This position shall assist with the consolidation and harmonization of new care model plans under the NUHS@Home to ensure alignment with NUHS’s overarching vision. Acting as a central coordination point, the role works closely with internal as well as external stakeholders to maintain coherence across timelines, milestones, and budgets, preventing conflicts and enabling seamless execution.

Beyond coordination, the incumbent contributes to strategic initiatives by assisting in visioning and business model refinement, preparing budgetary papers and business proposals, and enriching internal discussions with insights from external healthcare models and global best practices. This role is essential for ensuring that NUHS’s transformation agenda is executed in a structured, integrated, and future-ready manner.

Job Responsibilities
Strategic Vision and Business Model Design
  • Support leadership in defining NUHS’s long-term strategic objectives and mission.
  • Assist in refining business model, including value propositions, patient segments, and delivery frameworks.
  • Benchmark against leading healthcare systems and global best practices for innovation and sustainability.
  • Research external healthcare models and global best practices to enrich internal discussions.
Organizational Roadmap and Harmonization
  • Consolidate and maintain a masterplan for leadership detailing timelines, milestones, and budgets from individual care models into a unified view.
  • Work with care model PMs to ensure alignment and resolve conflicts across workstreams.
Stakeholder Engagement and Liaisons
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of care models with NUHS@Home strategic objectives.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact and facilitate communication for clarifying priorities and ensuring collaborative decision-making between clinical leads, enterprise leads, and planning teams.
Administrative and Budgetary Support
  • Assist in preparing budgetary papers and business proposals for healthcare initiatives and ensure necessary approvals are obtained in a timely manner.
  • Other responsibilities as indicated which include but not limited to arranging meetings, preparing agendas, documenting minutes, and tracking follow-up actions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Healthcare Administration.
  • Minimum 2 years corporate planning or healthcare administration.
  • Proven ability to translate strategic goals into actionable, results-oriented execution.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, Agile / Scrum Certifications) is desirable.
