About the Role
We are seeking a culturally fluent and audience-savvy Assistant Manager, Marketing Campaigns to join SPH Media’s Consumer Marketing team. This role will lead campaign initiatives focused on growing reach and engagement among Tamil and Malay speaking communities, while also driving brand affinity and relevance among business-minded readers in Singapore and beyond.
You will work closely with editorial, creative, Comms, and performance teams to build and execute integrated campaigns that are culturally relevant, audience-driven, and strategically aligned with our commercial goals. Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns tailored to Tamil- and Malay-speaking audiences, as well as business readers across Southeast Asia
Collaborate with newsroom teams to identify promotable content, tentpole moments, and culturally resonant stories
Partner with creative, performance, communications teams to ensure messaging and visuals are tailored for different audience groups
Identify partnership and amplification opportunities with vernacular and business media platforms, communities, and influencers
Support content discoverability and campaign reach via both organic and paid media strategies
Measure and report on campaign performance, with a focus on reach, engagement, and commercial impact
Act as the internal advocate for vernacular and business audiences, contributing audience insights and best practices to broader marketing strategies
Who we are looking for
4-6 years of experience in consumer or content marketing, preferably within media or business publishing sectors
Proven experience engaging vernacular-speaking audiences in Singapore — particularly Tamil and/or Malay communities
Deep understanding of business and professional audience segments, and how to communicate value across different platforms
Proficiency in Tamil or Malay (reading, writing, and speaking) is a must
Strong grasp of digital marketing channels (social, content, public relations, paid media) and how to localize them for different audiences
Excellent stakeholder management and project coordination skills
Creative thinker with a structured approach to campaign planning and execution
