OVERVIEW
We are seeking a strategic and customer-focused Regional Logistics Solutions professional to support the design of innovative warehouse and supply chain solutions across the region. This role is pivotal during the RFQ stage, where the focus is on process improvement and solution differentiation. The ideal candidate will also play a key role in customer engagement throughout the solution lifecycle, from pre-sales consultation to post-implementation support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Lead and review warehouse solution proposals for regional tenders, covering space utilization, process flow, resource modelling, operational concept development and pricing support.
- Support sales discussion to understand customer logistics service needs, identify operational challenges and assists in developing End-to-End and/or Warehousing Solutions.
- Analyze customer operations and data to identify opportunities for process improvement and value-added design across the supply chain.
- Visualize warehouse operation process flow and deployment needs from BRD requirements.
- Strong ability to calculate and determine warehouse productivity and handling resources needs.
- Calculate and determine warehouse costings, resources for new RFQ opportunities.
- Collaborate with country team to validate local costing and cost assumptions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including commercial, operations, IT, and finance teams to ensure solution designs are aligned with business objectives and operational capabilities.
- Support project implementation activities as needed, providing solution continuity from design through execution.
- Provide post-sales support, including continuous improvement recommendations, and solution refinement.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions to enhance design and implementation capability within in-country teams.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or equivalent
- Min 5 years of related experience in contract logistics.
- Hands-on experience in 3PL warehouse operations, ability to visualize warehouse operation process.
- Prior experience focusing on contract logistics and operational improvements (Lean, cost reduction, 5S, visual boards).
- Strong knowledge in resources model calculation for warehousing RFQs.
- Strong knowledge of WMS, automation systems, and supply chain optimization.
- Experience in Automobile, Semiconductor, FMCG, Electronics or Pharmaceuticals industry would be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of freight forwarding and experience in project management experience are advantageous.
