What the role is:

The Sanitation and Industry Policy Department (SIPD) under the Public Health Operations Policy Division (PHOPD) seeks a dedicated professional to strengthen our operational capabilities in environmental sanitation. This strategic role focuses on enhancing Singapore's public health infrastructure through the development of innovative solutions, implementation of advanced technologies, and formulation of comprehensive programmes. The successful candidate will collaborate with key stakeholders to address current environmental challenges whilst developing robust frameworks to meet future demands in public health and sanitation.

What you will be working on:

As an integral member of our team, you will manage comprehensive grant schemes and contribute to the review of sanitation policies. The role encompasses strategic oversight, stakeholder management, and analytical responsibilities.

Grant Management & Policy
  • Develop and review grant administration guidelines to meet evolving needs
  • Oversee third‑party service providers and officer training programmes
  • Process applications and conduct verification through on‑site audit checks
Programme Evaluation & Compliance
  • Implement evaluation frameworks to assess grant effectiveness
  • Formulate data‑driven strategies for sustained programme outcomes
  • Monitor grant utilisation, feedback, and appeals
  • Oversee investigation procedures and audit protocols

Additional duties may be assigned to support departmental objectives.

This is a contract post expiring on 31 July 2026.
