About the role
We’re looking for an organized and people-oriented Assistant Manager, HR & Admin to keep the sports facility running smoothly. You’ll be the go-to person for HR operations, staff support, and day-to-day office administration — ensuring things stay efficient, compliant, and positive behind the scenes.
What you'll be doing
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes for employees.
- Maintain staff records and prepare HR documents, payroll, and leave data.
- Support employee welfare, training, and engagement activities.
- Oversee office operations — procurement of supplies, managing vendors and coordinating event logistics.
- Coordinate IT setup, access, and equipment with relevant teams.
- Handle general admin duties and expense tracking.
- Be the first point of contact for HR and admin matters and ensuring smooth communication towards a great place to work for our employees.
- Monitor and ensure legal compliance for all in-house programs and take necessary follow-up actions.
- Assist in ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
What we’re looking for
- Diploma or Degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of HR and admin experience, preferably in an SME or operational environment.
- Exposure to HR policy implementation, process improvement, or supporting organisational initiatives.
- Strong working knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act and HR practices.
- Excellent coordination skills with sharp attention to detail and a high level of professionalism.
- Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- A self-starter who’s approachable, reliable, and enjoys keeping things organised.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience in or passion for the sports industry is an advantage.
