Job summary

A recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking a candidate to support the public transport fare policy review. The role demands strong analytical skills, performing statistical analysis, stakeholder engagement, and policy formulation. The ideal candidate will have a degree, keen interest in economics or finance, and preferably knowledge in SQL. This position offers a salary ranging from $3,050 to $6,250, with a structured working schedule from Monday to Friday.

Job description

You will be part of a team responsible for the public transport fare policy review, as well as carrying out the regulatory and licensing functions. This will include engaging stakeholders and industry players to develop policy options to ensure fare affordability and financial sustainability for the public transport system, performing statistical analysis, drafting policy papers and reviewing legislation. You will also work with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of policies, work closely with other government agencies and regulated entities to be effective in the role.

  • Degree qualification in any discipline.
  • Keen interest or experience in economics or finance, and practical experience in formulation and development of public policies.
  • Preferably with knowledge and experience in statistical analysis and/or Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Meticulous with strong analytical, writing and presentation skills.
  • Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills; and demonstrated ability to think strategically, work independently and with others under pressure.

Working schedule (day and time): Mondays to Thursdays : 8.30 am – 6.00 pm; Fridays : 8.30 am – 5.30 pm
