Job description
Job Responsibilities
  • Lead, direct, and oversee the Production Engineering and Maintenance function for the Manufacturing Group, covering Inductor, Resistor, and Varistor.
  • Manage all equipment and maintenance engineering activities, including sustaining and rationalization, to achieve operational goals and short- to mid-term business targets.
  • Drive and collaborate with Japan teams to accelerate planned projects in Tajima and Batam.
  • Define and implement the mid-term technology and engineering roadmap to support operational growth.
  • Ensure global safety compliance and progress toward safety autonomy.
  • Develop and execute a talent strategy for Batam autonomy, including skill mapping, leadership development, and upskilling frameworks.
  • Build a lean, highly skilled global Production Engineering organization.
  • Achieve strategic cost targets (LELP) and promote Itakona activities.
  • Act as the Batam liaison for new PCC product in Batam (ICT PCC)
  • Support and strengthen project collaboration between Japan and Batam teams.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related)
  • 8+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, covering production engineering and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment, maintenance systems, and automation.
  • Experience in cost reduction (Lean, Itakona, Kaizen) and safety compliance.
  • Exposure to technology roadmap planning.
  • Track record in talent development and building lean, skilled organizations.
  • Experience working with Japan teams and global stakeholders preferred.
  • Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N1 or above preferred)
