Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a recognised professional qualification (e.g. ACCA or equivalent).
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, audit, or accounting roles, preferably within Real Estate/REIT.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple reporting timelines.
  • Comfortable working independently while partnering with internal stakeholders across finance, asset management, and operations.
  • Proactive, organised, and able to adapt in a fast‑paced, reporting‑driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Managing month‑end and quarter‑end close processes for property‑holding and investment entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Preparing analytical reviews and variance analysis on operating results, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Supporting annual budgeting exercises, quarterly forecasts, and ongoing cash flow projections for real estate assets.
  • Preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinating indirect tax and corporate tax submissions, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Acting as a key liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, trustees, and professional service providers.
  • Supporting finance‑led projects, process improvements, and ad‑hoc initiatives related to portfolio reporting and controls.

We are working with an established real estate organisation to appoint an Assistant Finance Manager to support financial reporting, statutory compliance, and planning activities across a portfolio of properties.

This role provides hands‑on exposure to entity‑level reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, tax compliance, and audit coordination, working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers within a regulated real estate environment.
