Join our client's team as an Assistant Facilities Manager for the night shift and lead critical operations in a dynamic environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee essential systems, manage emergency responses, and contribute to the smooth functioning of high-value properties.
Lead night operations: Supervise the night shift Operations team in managing overall operations, maintenance, and technical inspections of client premises.
Manage critical systems: Monitor and maintain power generation, water treatment, and sewage systems during overnight hours to ensure uninterrupted facility operations.
Emergency response: Act as the primary Site Incident Controller during night shifts, overseeing initial responses to various emergencies until support services arrive.
Client service: Attend to urgent service requests and feedback, coordinating with on‑duty technicians and contractors to address maintenance issues promptly.
Problem‑solving: Investigate and analyze reported breakdowns, implementing temporary fixes and gathering data to prevent future occurrences.
Reporting and analysis: Compile operational data and prepare comprehensive reports on night shift activities, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
Versatility: Perform additional duties as assigned, particularly those requiring attention during night hours.
Educational background: Candidates with a Diploma in Building/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Facilities Management, coupled with relevant experience in the field.
Certification advantage: Possession of Fire Safety Manager Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Industry experience: Familiarity with Integrated Facilities Management or M&E is beneficial for success in this role.
Adaptability: Ability to work night (12 hours) shifts and/or weekend or public holiday shifts, demonstrating flexibility in work arrangements.
Flexibility: Candidates MUST be open to take 7 minutes ferry to work location from Punggol Point Jetty.
