Job summary

A healthcare facility in Singapore seeks an experienced finance professional to handle invoicing, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in accounting or finance, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software. Key responsibilities include tracking outstanding balances, preparing management reports, and assisting with audits. A meticulous, proactive team player is preferred for this on-site role.

Job description
Job Responsibilities

1. Generate monthly invoices, verify the accuracy of the bills and obtain approval before distribution.

2. Perform daily reconciliations of e-payments and off-set against individual invoices for accurate arrears tracking.

3. Track clients with outstanding balances for follow-up, and propose for write-off if criteria are met.

4. Prepare and verify EFT reports prior to submission for GIRO deduction.

5. Process GIRO applications and liaise with clients/ banks for failed deductions.

6. Process refunds for discharged cases.

7. Track, submit and reconciliate claims related to healthcare financing schemes and subsidies (ILTC, Medisave, SMF, Medifund, One-Rehab etc).

8. Assist in preparing month-end and year-end management reports including P&L analysis, workload statistics etc.

9. Assist in annual pricing revision process.

10. Assist in finance-related audits including preparing reports and liaising with auditors.

11. Assume other responsibilities delegated from time to time.

Job Requirements
  • Qualification: Diploma in any accounting/ Finance or equivalent

  • Experience: A least 3 years of relevant working experience in the healthcare industry with accounting or health financing.

  • Special skills/ Training: Should be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/ Powerpoint) and Google Drive equivalents.

  • Knowledge in accounting software (ACCPAC, SAP) and health financing systems of Singapore.

  • Meticulous and accurate, independent, accountable and comfortable to adapt to changes.

  • Good oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Proactive, driven and have team player mind-set
