Location: Seletar, Singapore

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Fan Blade Manufacturing.

As an Assistant Engineer (Manufacturing Services) under Seletar’s Wide Chord Fan Blade Facility within Rolls‑Royce Singapore, you will be responsible for supporting manufacturing services processes in areas of Quality, HSE and reporting to the Manufacturing Services Team. You will serve as production team’s liaison in all technical areas to enable efficient and safe production of the product to the intent of the manufacturing method.

Key Accountabilities :
  • Support and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on complex manufacturing equipment.
  • Conduct machine troubleshooting and root cause analysis to ensure minimum production downtime.
  • Work with Engineers to drive machine reliability improvement projects and implement sustainable solutions to recurring issues.
  • Support equipment calibration, safety validation, and process qualification to meet engineering and quality standards.
  • Participate in maintenance shutdown planning and execution to ensure all critical equipment and facility systems are maintain effectively.
  • Collaborate with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Laboratory, and Quality teams to ensure equipment readiness for
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Lean, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), and digital maintenance tools.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE and Rolls‑Royce maintenance standards.
  • Maintain operator training and qualification requirements for operational asset cares.
  • Assist Engineers in shopfloor activities to facilitate and minimize impact to operation e.g. supporting trials, data collection, briefing technical instructions.
Qualifications
  • Diploma in engineering or its equivalent
  • Demonstrated technical experience or competency in an aerospace or complex manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated background working within a high complexity manufacturing engineering environment
  • Understanding of reliability engineering, lean maintenance, and asset lifecycle management concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven mindset.
  • Experience in the application of lean manufacturing methods, quality systems, new product introduction, product design and introduction
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
  • Able to inspire, motivate, and develop workforce and demonstrated effectiveness in finishing and delivering on commitments
