Our client is actively searching for an Asst Director, Research & Partnerships to join their team!

To oversee grant management and research administration, we are looking for suitable candidates to lead the Research and Partnerships Team. You will support the Associate Dean (Research)’s Office in grant management and research administration.

The responsibilities of this role are:
  • Disseminate and coordinate grant calls.
  • Provide administrative support for proposal submissions, progress and final reporting, and proper closure of completed research projects.
  • Manage research accounts from award to expiry.
  • Facilitate fund virement and grant variation submissions in compliance with grantor’s terms and conditions.
  • Assist faculty members to put in place industry and research agreements in accordance with University’s policies.
  • Track and report research performance
  • Provide secretariat support to review panel meetings.
  • Any other ad-hoc initiatives and assignments undertaken by the Office.
The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
  • At least a degree qualification with at least 5- 8 years of experience in grant management and/or research administration.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle sensitive/confidential information.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and able to handle databases.
