Job Description Summary

This role is responsible for managing the administration and operations of the Town Council.

What you will be doing:
  1. The Assistant Director / Senior Manager oversees the administration and operations of the Town Council.
  2. Serves as a key officer for the Town Council, as prescribed under the Town Council Act.
  3. Leads a team to administer and manage the affairs of the Town Council efficiently and effectively.
  4. Plays a critical role in enabling the town council to execute policies, projects, and initiatives to enhance the living environment and quality of life in public housing estates.
  5. Oversees the team to ensure delivery of services according to contract specifications.
  6. Achieves financial targets set by C&W.
  7. Maintains customer relations and ensures targets set by the Town Council are met.
  8. Assists the team in growing township business.
You are:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management or a relevant Business Degree.
  2. At least 10 years of leadership experience managing teams and stakeholder engagement.
  3. Experience in Township/Grassroots engagement, liaising with MPs, grassroots leaders, residents, etc., is an advantage.
  4. Good knowledge of accounting, contracts administration, legislations, and statutory requirements related to township properties.
