Job summary

A construction and project management firm in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support maintenance and project functions. Responsibilities include cost analysis, feasibility studies, value management, and advising on procurement strategy. The ideal candidate should possess a diploma in Quantity Survey, Building, Engineering, or Facility Management, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience. This role emphasizes the ability to manage risks and contractual claims efficiently, ensuring all works comply with safety regulations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support of maintenance and project works function.
• Undertake costs analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
• Assist in stabling client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
• Perform value management and cost control.
• Advise on procurement strategy.
• Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks.
• Provide advice on contractual claims.
• Prepare tender document, tender calling, tender evaluation, market survey report.
• Administer term contractors A&A works.
• Value completed work and arrange payments.
• Understand implications of health and safety regulations.
• Handle any other ad-hoc assignments assigned by Management.

• Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
• Providing advice on contractual claims
• Prepare tender document, tender calling, tender evaluation, market survey report, contract documents, including bills of quantities with clients/ architects, and preparing and analysing costing in detailed reports
• Administer term contractors A&A works
• Valuing completed work and arranging payments
• Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations
• Any other ad-hoc assignments assigned by the Management.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Quantity Survey, Building, Engineering, Facility Management or other relevant qualifications with minimum 3 years relevant experience.
