Overview
Support senior engineers in planning, managing, and executing construction projects by assisting with technical tasks, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing project documentation and progress
Responsibilities
- Design and Technical Support: Assist in the development of engineering designs, prepare drawings and specifications, and perform technical calculations for structural elements and systems.
- Project Planning and Scheduling: Support in preparing detailed work schedules, coordinating with internal teams and contractors, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Site Supervision and Monitoring: Conduct regular site inspections, monitor daily work progress, and ensure that construction activities comply with project specifications, drawings, and safety standards.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Perform quality control checks on materials and workmanship, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Document Control: Prepare and maintain various project documents, including daily site reports, progress claims, cost estimates, and as-built drawings.
- Coordination and Communication: Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues, facilitate workflow, and maintain project timelines.
- Safety Management: Attend safety meetings, ensure site activities adhere to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations, and assist in managing site access and logistics.
- Cost and Resource Management: Assist in quantity surveying, material estimation, and monitoring material delivery schedules to help manage project costs and resources effectively.
- Technical Problem-Solving: Support the resolution of technical issues that arise during construction by analyzing problems and recommending solutions.
