Job description

The Assistant Brewer will assist the Head Brewer in all aspects of the brewing process; which is turning water into great quality beer (with the help of malt, hops & yeast).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Brewing process activities include stock control, CIP, brewing, cellaring, packaging of kegs and cans, equipment maintenance and cleaning of brewery equipment and environment
• Will be required to assist with record-keeping, quality analysis and maintaining hygiene standards
• A positive attitude and enthusiasm
• Be able to repeatedly lift and push 25kg to 50kg of malt bags, filter pads, spent grain, kegs, etc. within the brewery

REQUIREMENTS

• No Experience required. On job training will be provided.
• Educated in a science or engineering-related field would be desired.
• Read and write English. Do simple math and inventory, computer literate.
• A keen eye for detail
