Roles & Responsibilities

The Assistant accounts manager is primarily responsible for the day to day finance functions for a sub-group of companies. The general mission of the finance functions is to ensure accuracy of financial information, statutory compliances and to provide valuable advice to the management.Additionally, to work with external parties including but not limited to auditor, tax authority, advisor to achieve finance and non-financial targets.

What You'll Do :
  • Manage full-cycle accounting functions including GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns accurately and on time.
  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing, with full reconciliation of intercompany accounts.
  • Monitor cash flow and assist in preparing cash flow projections and forecasts.
  • Prepare monthly management reports in compliance with FRS and company policies.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries for statutory compliance and annual audits.
  • Support internal control reviews and process improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare financial statements, budgets, and variance analysis.
  • Handle ad-hoc finance projects and reporting as assigned.
Requirements :

Degree in Accounting / Finance / Banking / ACCA or equivalent, CPA preferred.

  • Working experience in construction industry with at least 4 years in handling full duties of accounts.
  • Meticulous, detailed oriented and able to multi-task.
  • Able to work independently and a team player.
  • Sage 300 ACCPAC accounting software experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Five-and-half-day work week.
  • Working location : North region
