Job summary

A financial services company based in Singapore seeks a dedicated financial officer responsible for preparing and maintaining financial reports, ensuring compliance with audits, and coordinating accounts. This role includes tasks such as preparing financial statements and overseeing the accounting processes, while also monitoring daily financial aspects and assisting with budgeting. Ideal candidates should be capable of training new staff and supporting digital transformations within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and maintaining financial reports for compliance with audits, GST, and corporate tax.
  • Preparing and closing financial statements and processing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Coordinating accounts with Hong Kong office and other regions.
  • Supporting intercompany activities and managing grants.
  • Monitoring financial aspects of the company.
  • Assisting in forecasting and budgeting exercises.
  • Helping with digital processes and system implementation.
  • Analyzing accounting options to recommend financial actions.
  • Training new accounting clerical staff.
  • Performing other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job description
Responsibilitie:
  • Preparing and maintaining financial reports, ensuring compliance of all filing requirements for audit, GST and corporate tax purposes,
  • Preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements, all accounting processes and tasks such as AP & AR process, GL, petty cash, account reconciliation, and GST,
  • Coordination of accounts of our Hong Kong’s office and offices in other regions,
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal departments parties to support intercompany activities and in the management of grants,
  • Daily monitoring of the financial aspect of the company,
  • Support forecasting and budgeting exercises per corporate guidelines,
  • Assist in new computerisation / digital processes and system implementation when required,
  • To recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options,
  • Assist to train and guide new accounting clerical staff,
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
