Job Vacancy: Assistant Accounting Manager
Industry: Wholesale (Building Materials, Hardware, Plumbing & Heating Supplies)
Work Location: Near Upper Changi MRT Station (Downtown Line DT34), Singapore
Salary
  • Base Salary: SGD 3,600 – SGD 4,200 (based on experience)
Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Leave Entitlement
  • Monthly Rest Days: 8 days
  • Annual Sick Leave: In accordance with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations
About the Company

We are a well-established wholesale company dealing in building materials, hardware, plumbing, and heating equipment and supplies (including cement, sand, and related products). We are seeking a responsible and experienced Assistant Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle full sets of accounts and prepare financial statements (FS)
  • Generate sales and cash flow reports
  • Manage and verify bank transactions
  • Oversee accounts receivable (AR) and debt collection functions
  • Handle checks from suppliers and vendors
  • Prepare and submit quarterly GST filings
  • Manage taxation and auditing matters
  • Conduct quarterly inventory supervision and back-office preparations
  • Supervise and manage at least 2 accounting staff
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Proven experience handling full accounting functions
  • Experience managing at least 2 employees
  • Proficient in email, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
  • Willing to work in the Changi / Eastern area
  • Experience with NAVISION accounting software is an advantage (optional)
