The Role:

The teacher will report directly to the Principal (Academic) and play a key role in planning and delivering engaging lessons in both arts and music. You will inspire students to explore their creativity, build confidence and express themselves through arts and music.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in both arts and music in alignment with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives.
  • Introduce students to various art techniques, music genres and instruments to encourage artistic and creative exploration.
  • Assess and monitor students’ learning progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes participation and creativity.
  • Communicate regularly with parents to discuss students’ progress and achievements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in organizing school-wide arts or cultural events.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in Education, Arts, Music, or a related field.
  • 2 years of teaching experience in Cambridge curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and ability to motivate and engage with students.
  • Excellent communication skills and organisational skills.
  • Passion in teaching and commitment to student success.
