A leading Singaporean construction firm is seeking an Architectural Drawing Manager to oversee drawing coordination in the construction industry. The role requires a degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years of experience in drawing management. Recognized Degree in Architecture/ Engineering/ Construction or equivalent
Min 10 Years of experience in drawing coordination and management in the Singapore Construction Industry
Well versed inAutoCAD, Revit / BIM SoftwareinArchitectural/ Structural/ MEP.
Good understanding of the Singapore Construction Industry regulations (eg. Building code, BCA, URA and LTA)
Experience inleading a teamof coordinators and drafters in Shop drawing production, coordination, and document control.
Involve and lead in checking and coordination of Shop drawings and as-built drawings with all respective trades (e.g., Architectural, Structural, MEP and Specialist Subcontractors works)
Review project specifications, Shop drawings and technical clarifications
Able to prepare and monitor the progress of Shop drawings and Sample schedule with procurement schedule.
Manage submission and approvals of Shop drawings and Samples from Consultants.
Manage receipt and issuance of all Consultant drawings and Shop drawings
Liaise and coordinate with Consultants, Authorities and Subcontractors on design issues.
Assist the Project team on technical and coordination issues with Subcontractors.
Attend and chair design technical meetings with Consultants and Subcontractors
Assist the Project contracts department in variation order claims related to design changes.
