Key Responsibilities:
Design & Documentation:
- Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings, details, schedules, and specifications.
- Coordinate design intent with construction documents.
- Review and ensure consistency across all design and construction documents.
- Maintain CAD/BIM standards and project templates.
Project Coordination:
- Coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP, civil, etc.) and internal teams to integrate multidisciplinary inputs.
- Support Project Architect/Manager with project schedules, submittals, and deliverables.
- Assist in obtaining permits and approvals from local authorities.
Communication:
- Liaise with contractors, vendors, and other external stakeholders as needed.
- Participate in project meetings and assist in documentation of meeting minutes and action items.
- Facilitate communication between design and construction teams to resolve technical issues.
Compliance & Quality Control:
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, ADA, and other applicable laws.
- Support quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) procedures throughout all project phases.
- Assist in construction administration tasks such as RFI responses, shop drawing reviews, and site inspections.
