Job description

An experienced and detail-oriented Architect Coordinator with minimum of three (3) years of relevant practical experience in building / infrastructure works on building sites in Singapore. This role involves coordinating architectural aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Role Responsibilities
  • Coordinate architectural activities and ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to facilitate smooth project execution.

  • Monitor construction progress to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards. Manage architectural work scheduling, from shop drawings preparations, materials approval, trials / mock-ups, to actual implementation on site and thereafter handing over.

  • Ensure that architectural designs are correctly implemented on‑site.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with architectural plans and regulatory requirements.

  • Address any discrepancies between the design and actual construction, providing solutions and recommendations as needed.

  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including architectural drawings, reports, and correspondence.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status and any issues encountered.

  • Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for client and stakeholder meetings.

  • Conduct regular audits to verify that construction work meets architectural and regulatory standards.

  • Address any quality issues promptly and effectively to maintain project integrity.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for architectural matters on‑site.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and expectations.

  • Verify VO and prepare back charge.

  • Check & ensure compliance with TOP check list and RI (Arch).

  • Liaise with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary approvals and permits.

Role Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Architecture or a related field.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant practical experience in building works on building sites in Singapore.

  • Strong knowledge of architectural design and construction processes.

  • Proficiency in architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Building Information Modeling BIM).

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Location: Tuas area. Transport is provided.
