Job summary

A retail aquatic store in Singapore is seeking a Retail Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have retail supervision experience and basic knowledge of aquarium care. Responsibilities include managing staff, handling cash, maintaining shop presentation, and assisting customers with their aquarium needs. This position requires a willingness to work on weekends and travel to other outlets as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the aquarium retail shop.
• Supervise retail staff and maintain service standards.
• Handle opening and closing duties, cash management, and POS operations.
• Maintain shop presentation and upkeep of livestock tanks.
• Monitor livestock wellbeing and coordinate care schedules.
• Assist customers with aquarium setup advice and product recommendations.
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally.

• Working Days: 6 Days (5 days off per month)
• Working Hours: 10am – 8pm
• Working Location: Havelock, Singapore

Requirements

Job Scopes

• Oversee daily operations of the aquarium retail shop to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
• Supervise and guide retail staff, ensuring product knowledge, service standards, and performance are maintained.
• Handle opening and closing duties, cash management, POS operations, and daily sales reporting.
• Maintain proper shop presentation, cleanliness, and upkeep of livestock tanks, aquatic plants, and aquarium displays.
• Monitor livestock wellbeing, water quality, and stock conditions, coordinating care schedules where required.
• Manage inventory, conduct stock checks, and coordinate replenishment of livestock, plants, and products.
• Assist customers with aquarium setup advice, product recommendations, and troubleshooting.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
• Ensure adherence to company SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Support sales promotions and overall store performance.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
