This role combines Software Engineering and Application Support responsibilities, involving both system development and day-to-day operational support.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide Level 1 and 2 troubleshooting support and response.
  • Debug issues and make necessary code changes.
  • Perform software development using programminglanguages.
  • Log, elevate, and follow through with issues, ensuring that issues are resolved.
  • Review and improve our alarms and alarm response.
  • Periodic reviews and submission of the capacity needs of the business.
  • Support and/or drive disaster recovery response drills.
  • Deploy new versions of the software.
  • Generate reports on the operational workloads, review capacity needs of the business, support and/or drive disaster recovery response drills.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other related discipline.
  • At least 3years of Technical/Application Support experience on various technology platforms with programming skills.
  • Capable of responding to incidents and contributing to code-level fixes when required.
  • Knowledge in at least one programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python).
  • Knowledge in SRE/DevOps operations, and infrastructure is a plus.
  • Responsible and proactive approach to resolving problems, and being able to have a structured approach to problem-solving.
