Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will be involved in sourcing new leads, updating of client’s profile, inbound and outbound calls and emails, and marketing campaigns – Webinars, Seminars and Technical Discussions. Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, independent, and able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment. This role requires the candidate to be involved in the development, production, and application of bioprocessing tools, such as Tide Motion bioreactors for adherent cell culture. The application support takes on many forms, ranging from technical support for our bioprocessing equipment to addressing application enquiries across a wide range of industries (vaccine, cell therapy, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow‑up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Convert opportunities into active accounts by presenting detailed information
  • Provide knowledge of Bioprocessing product catalogue, and product maintenance
  • Responsible for researching and identifying new leads
  • Updates each CRM profile with detailed and accurate information
  • Expected to maintain a minimum number of high‑volume outgoing communications
  • Perform product test work to measure the properties or performance of our products. Generate the necessary documents for internal and customer use
  • Troubleshoot application‑specific enquiries – primarily on Tide Motion Bioreactors (adherent cell culture)
  • Write and execute product application plans such as item list, manuals, and other related documents
  • Educate, train, and support sales and customers with product and application information
  • Work independently and efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with internal staff members and provide updates on the progress of projects
  • Collaborate with engineers and development teams to keep track of experimental testing status and obtain test results in a timely manner
  • Support product and service sales in application, marketing content, and quotations
  • Responsible for coordinating trade shows/exhibitions company participates in
  • Expected to maintain a high standard of professionalism in their verbal and written communications
  • Follows established sales operating procedures and best practices
  • Executes mass communication campaigns and maintains a follow‑up schedule until each lead is contacted
Key Requirements:
  • At least 2‑5 years related product application specialist experience including handling of bioreactors for adherent culture
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology/Biology, Bioengineering or other related life science fields
  • In depth knowledge of unit operations and practices relevant to biotech customers and process
  • Ability to give presentations at webinars, events, etc.
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
  • Good presentation skills
  • A friendly and pleasant disposition
  • Sales and Marketing experience is a plus
