Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Workday Extend Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of custom applications built using the Workday Extend platform. This role requires a strong background in core Workday functionality (HCM/Finance) combined with hands‑on development skills and a proven track record in project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the end‑to‑end implementation of Workday Extend App
• Translate client business requirements into functional & technical design and configurations
• Apply Workday’s validated implementation methodology on every extend app build
• Contribute to the development of internal accelerators and improve delivery
• Cultivate positive relationship with customers by providing clear communication, proactive mentorship, and a solutions‑oriented approach

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Workday ecosystem as a technical consultant or developer
• 3+ years of direct, hands‑on development and implementation experience with Workday Extend
• Strong understanding of Workday data models, security frameworks, and business process configurations.
• Proficiency with Workday Web Services, APIs (SOAP/REST), and Studio Integrations
• Familiarity with modern software development practices, including version control and agile methodologies
• Excellent communication, presentation, and consulting skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

• Workday Pro certification in Workday Extend or relevant functional areas (HCM, Financials)
• Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) or development platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information System, or a related technical field.
