Opportunity

An opening exists in the Asia‑Pacific AppleCare Technologies project management. This role spans across the Asia‑Pacific region on projects pertaining to Enterprise systems and processes. The role supports the following business areas: contract manufacturer onboarding, Field services repair management, warehousing, freight, service parts planning and procurement, online services, service contracts, business development/sales, contact centre operations, and others.

Description

The Project Manager and Business Analyst role resides in the Apple Support business and is the primary interface between the Apple Support business teams and the Information Systems & Technology team. The role works across Enterprise processes and systems, and provides cross‑functional leadership across functional business organisations. Activities include preparing required documentation based on project size, allocating project resources, communicating project status across organizational hierarchy, managing project risk, monitoring change readiness of the business, and conducting post‑implementation reviews. Effective project outcomes to required scope, time, and quality are the accountability of this role.

Minimum Qualifications
  • You have 8 or more years of demonstrated experience in
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to scope, time, schedule, quality, and risk management best practices.
  • Facilitating workshops and brainstorming sessions to gather business requirements.
  • Analyzing, re‑engineering, and recommending solutions for business processes.
  • Resolving complex project situations, including issues, and representing the project to senior leadership layers such as Directors and Senior Directors. Negotiating, resolving conflicts, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including remote teams and vendors.
  • Leading and deploying complex projects, ensuring robust planning for change management and sustained business operations.
  • Proficiently utilizing MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and basic project planning tools.
  • Providing technical and analytical problem‑solving, aligning individual work with broader organizational strategy.
  • Proven experience managing projects within the APAC region; global project leadership experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Consumer electronics industry experience (desired); service and support business experience (desired).
  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree.
  • Consulting background experience (desired).
  • Lean Six Sigma exposure (desired).
  • Project Management certification (desired).
  • SAP system and process savvy; knowledge of ERP (e.g., SAP) systems deployed in the consumer electronics industry.
  • Experience and familiarity with Apple’s products is preferred.
