Job summary

A leading global medical technology company based in Singapore is seeking a Business Development professional to identify promising acquisition opportunities and manage deal processes. The role requires a background in life sciences or biomedical engineering, along with substantial experience in business development. The ideal candidate will also possess strong financial acumen and excellent communication skills. Travel requirements are approximately 10-15%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant working experience, with 3-5 years in business development.
• Fluency in English required; working proficiency in Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate teams of internal and external experts to evaluate product opportunities.
• Manage development of the business case and financial model.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to integrate scientific, clinical, financial, and market information.

Skills

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

Strong financial acumen (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, budgets)

Ability to communicate complex issues clearly

Ability to identify market trends

Education

Life sciences and/or biomedical engineering degree

MBA or relevant business experience
