Job summary

A pharmaceutical multinational company in Singapore is seeking an Analytical Chemist for a 9-month contract. The successful candidate will ensure data accuracy for process issues and contribute to new testing technologies. Applicants should hold a Science degree and have 1-2 years of experience in an analytical lab environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge of GMP and strong analytical skills are essential. Candidates with no prior experience will also be considered.

Qualifications

  • Min. 1-2 years of experience in an analytical lab environment.
  • Good knowledge of GMP and GLP.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure data accuracy for addressing process and method issues.
  • Contribute to implementation of new testing technologies.
  • Lead investigations from laboratory incidents.

  • Ensure that all data supporting the resolution of process and method issues have sufficient accuracy to allow for the correct actions to be taken to address the issue.
  • Contribute to the formulation and development of the plans for the implementation of new testing technologies and methods.
  • Draft, compile. review and update appropriate laboratory documents such as testing protocol, procedures and guidelines relating to GMP and operational framework of the laboratory.
  • Lead or participate in investigation arising from laboratory investigation, incidents and accurately assess the impact of the failure so as to make appropriate recommendations remedial actions for follow-up.
Requirement:
  • Min. Science degree holder with experience in the field of Chemical, Pharma or Manufacturing industry
  • Min. 1-2 years of experience in an analytical lab environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong analytical skills with strong foundation in analytical chemistry
  • Good knowledge of GMP and GLP
  • Knowledge of laboratory instruments
  • Good knowledge of quality, laboratory techniques and laboratory compliance
  • Candidates with no prior experience will be considered
