A leading aviation services provider in Singapore is seeking an Aircraft Engine Technician. The role involves disassembly and assembly of engines, conducting inspections, and performing repairs on aircraft components. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in the aviation industry and relevant aerospace certifications. Perform disassembly/ assembly of engine into modular for repair and overhaul
Install engine components & parts onto the engine/ module
Perform troubleshooting, modification and maintenance works
Conducting thorough visual and dimensional inspections of aircraft components.
Reviewing and interpreting technical drawings and engine manuals to assess part conditions.
Identifying components that require further Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) due to suspected cracks or defects.
Ensuring compliance with aviation standards and manufacturer recommendations.
Documenting inspection findings and maintaining accurate records.
Collaborating with engineering and quality teams to determine component serviceability.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives in inspection processes.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in accordance with safety protocols.
Operating within a structured shift pattern: Morning-Morning, Afternoon-Afternoon, Off-Off.
(i) Heat Treatment & Special Processes: Perform Heat Treatment, Dayton, Brazing, IVA Process, and Plasma Spray Process.
(ii) Surface Preparation & Coating: Perform tape maskingand blasting for surface preparation.
Operate ovensand pneumatic vibro peening equipment.
(iii) Aircraft Engine Component Maintenance & Repair: Inspect and repair aircraft engine compressor and turbine blades.
Perform heat treatment, welding, and repairson aircraft engine parts.
Conduct machining operationson aircraft engine parts.
Profile cold section compressor air-foils.
(iv) Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Support: Assist in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)for aircraft engine parts.
Preferably in Aerospace or relevant certificates.
At least 2 years of working experience in the aviation industry as a full fledge technician, excluding OJT, helper and assistant mechanics.
Technicians have to be both skilfully trained as well as theoretically prepared for any skill test required.
Skilled in working in a team environment with effective organizational skills.
Exposure on GE, Rolls Royce, Engine Alliance GP and PW commercial engines
