Job summary

A leading cargo management company in Singapore is looking for a dedicated candidate to handle cargo bookings and liaise with agents. The ideal applicant should have a GCE ‘O’ Level qualification and experience in the cargo or airfreight industry is preferred. This role offers a challenging environment with opportunities to excel in the airline cargo industry, specifically targeting Singaporeans and PRs only.

Qualifications

  • Experience in cargo/airfreight industry will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary for liaising with agents.

Responsibilities

  • Handle cargo booking and maximize bookings on flights.
  • Manage overbooking or backlog.
  • Monitor cargo lying list.

Job Description
Responsibilities :
  • Handle cargo booking, changing bookings and maximize bookings on flights
  • Manage overbooking or backlog
  • Monitor cargo lying list
  • Reallocation of space
  • Liaise with agents and HQ on operation issues
  • Perform flight planning and prepare cargo related reports
  • Work closely with our airline principles, and develop a good working relationship with key freight forwarders and GHA to achieve company objectives
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Manager
Requirements :
  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent
  • Experience in cargo / airfreight industry will be an advantage
  • Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work independently with pro-active attitude
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • 5.5 work week for this position
