Job summary

Responsibilities
Accounting (70-80%)
  • Perform daily journal entries and maintain accurate bookkeeping
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Prepare vendor bills, payment vouchers, and bank reconciliations
  • Issue customer invoices and oversee collections
  • Assist with monthly closing and financial reporting
  • Prepare GST returns and support IRAS filings
  • Liaise with external accountants and auditors
  • Manage petty cash and employee expense reimbursements
General Affairs (20-30%)
  • Manage office supplies, utilities, and maintenance contracts
  • Coordinate with vendors, building management, and service providers
  • Handle company licences, insurance, and statutory documentation
  • Support HR and payroll administration, including CPF submissions and leave records
  • Apply for and renew work passes/visas with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM)
  • Arrange business trips, accommodations, and transportation
  • Provide general administrative support for daily operations
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting and administration
  • Strong understanding of Singapore statutory requirements (CPF, IRAS, GST, MOM)
  • Proficiency in Japanese to communicate with Japanese‑speaking counterparts
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Odoo, or Xero
  • High attention to detail, well‑organised, and able to work independently
