Position Overview

FirstCom Academy is seeking Adjunct Trainers with practical experience in AI-powered content creation to teach our Prompt Engineering and AI Visual Generation courses. We are looking for two types of trainers:

1. Prompt Engineering Specialist – with deep expertise in crafting prompts for tools like ChatGPT, DALL·E, Midjourney, and other generative AI systems.
2. AI Visual Trainer with Photography Background – who can combine AI tools proficiency with photographic principles (e.g. lighting, angles, composition) to guide learners in creating visually compelling outputs using AI image generation platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery

• Conduct hands-on training sessions on topics such as:
  • Prompt structuring for text and image generation
  • AI image creation using tools like Midjourney, DALL·E, Leonardo AI, and others
  • Prompt refinement techniques for tone, accuracy, style, and visual control
  • AI ethics, copyright, and responsible content creation
  • For photography-focused trainers: teaching composition, lighting, framing, and how these principles apply to AI-generated visuals
• Facilitate real-world exercises that encourage creative experimentation and precision.
• Explain both the technical and creative considerations behind effective content generation.
• Support learners in applying prompts to business, marketing, and storytelling use cases.

Assessment Integrity

• Uphold high standards of assessment quality and fairness.
• Ensure all assessment responses are complete and evaluated accurately.
• Conduct oral recovery sessions professionally and document them clearly.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Complete Assessment Summary Records (ASRs) and required documentation promptly.
• Maintain attendance, assessment, and learner performance records accurately.
• Provide feedback to help keep course materials up to date and relevant.

Learner Support and Engagement

• Provide clear, constructive feedback on learner progress.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that promotes proactive security thinking.
• Support learners in developing confidence in digital incident handling.

Compliance and Reporting

• Comply with all WSQ and FirstCom Academy standards and regulations.
• Report any issues related to assessment integrity or compliance.
• Stay updated with evolving cybersecurity trends, tools, and incident response frameworks.

Collaboration and Teamwork

• Collaborate with curriculum team to continuously enhance the course.
• Share feedback and best practices with peers and operational teams.

Requirements

Mandatory

• ACTA or ACLP certification
• Experience with AI content tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, DALL·E, or similar
• Strong understanding of how to structure and optimize prompts for different output goals
• Ability to translate complex AI concepts into simple, actionable techniques

1. Prompt Engineering Specialist

Ideal for those with deep technical knowledge of LLMs, generative AI, and productivity workflows

Additional Requirements:

• Strong grasp of prompt templates, modifiers, and context tuning
• Familiar with generative AI use cases in marketing, writing, design, and automation
• Able to explain differences across platforms (e.g. GPT-4 vs Claude vs Gemini)
• Bonus: Experience with API-based prompt deployment or LangChain / AI workflow automation tools

2. AI Visual Trainer with Photography Background

Ideal for photographers or creatives who now use AI tools to produce commercial-grade images

Additional Requirements:

• Background in photography, visual design, or film
• Strong understanding of lighting, angles, color theory, and composition
• Able to explain how visual principles influence AI-generated results
• Experience using image-generation platforms (e.g., Midjourney, DALL·E, Leonardo AI)
• Bonus: Familiarity with CapCut, Canva, or Adobe tools for post-processing
