Job summary

A community health organization in Singapore is seeking a dedicated individual for a client-facing role aimed at enhancing the quality of life for residents. You will manage daily operations, facilitate group sessions, oversee vocational services, and support event management. Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

This is a direct client-facing role where you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. You will oversee the daily operations of our programs, providing coordination and support services that help residents in their day-to-day living. This role also involves liaising with various stakeholders such as residents, suppliers, external agencies, and volunteers.

Programme Coordination
  • Assist in planning and facilitating group sessions (e.g, daily living skills, work-related skills, arts and crafts, sports) to engage residents meaningfully.
Vocational Services Support
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of residents’ attendance and output.
  • Ensure vocational tasks assigned to residents are completed satisfactorily.
Support Services (Including but not limited to):
  • Café/Sundry Operations:
    • Train residents for employment in café operations.
    • Conduct simple meal preparation.
    • Coordinate with suppliers for inventory replenishment.
  • Craft Programs:
    • Ensure smooth day-to-day running of craft activities and related Social Enterprise operations.
    • Collaborate with Art Coordinators to develop new crafts for sale and exhibition booths.
  • IT & Digital Skills:
    • Support Social Enterprise initiatives on various online retail platforms.
    • Conduct computer and digital literacy programs for residents.
Event Management
  • Plan and execute annual and ad hoc events for residents.
Project Management
  • Collaborate with external agencies and volunteers on project-based initiatives.
Administrative Duties
  • Maintain and submit timely reports and documentation related to all program areas.
Pre-requisites
  • Qualifications: N / O / A Levels, ITE, or Diploma.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English; fluency in Mandarin and/or Malay/Tamil and at least one dialect is preferred.
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of resilience and commitment to serving individuals in the mental health community.
