A construction recruitment agency is seeking an ACMV Engineer in Singapore to monitor subcontractors' work, ensure adherence to design specifications, and manage project timelines. Ideal candidates should have over 10 years of experience in ACMV system installation and possess strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards. Proficiency in BIM, Revit, and AutoCAD is advantageous. The role offers an opportunity for professional growth and values diversity in its applications.
Project Supervision: Monitor and supervise subcontractors' work progression, ensuring adherence to shop drawings, method statements, and material specifications.
Collaboration: Liaise with relevant authorities, subcontractors, main contractors, and clients on shop drawings, materials, and samples to ensure smooth project execution.
Design Review: Analyze ACMV design drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and guidelines, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
Technical Expertise: Utilize your knowledge in M&E to identify and address discrepancies between various project aspects, including structural, ID, architectural, and client provisions.
Project Management: Manage and execute projects within specified deadlines, attending meetings to address issues and update progress.
Quality Assurance: Study and review drawings and specifications for compliance, allocating work and ensuring jobs are completed to the highest standards.
Educational Background: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
Industry Experience: Ideally, candidates with more than 10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, particularly in ACMV system installation. However, candidates with less experience are also encouraged to apply.
Technical Knowledge: Sound understanding of ACMV systems, local and international codes of practice, Green Mark requirements, and hydronic/static calculations.
Software Proficiency: Experience with BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, and ICDD (Interface Control & Data Document) would be advantageous.
