Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore seeks an accounting professional with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping and payroll processing. Responsibilities include managing the full set of accounts, monthly reconciliation, and preparing payroll while working closely with external accountants. Job description
Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

  • Handle daily bookkeeping (AP, AR, bank transactions).
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate GL entries.
  • Maintain and update the fixed asset register.
  • Manage full set of accounts for the entity.
  • Prepare month-end schedules (AP/AR aging, accruals, prepayments, depreciation).
  • Extract, organize, and verify data for GST reporting.
  • Maintain clear and systematic filing of all accounting and finance records (digital and physical).
  • Liaise with external accountants and auditors on queries or document requests.
Payroll Administration
  • Prepare and process monthly payroll.
  • Handle CPF submissions and IRAS-related filings.
  • Maintain claims, leave records, and payroll-supporting data.
  • Coordination & Reporting
  • Coordinate monthly closing activities and adjustments with external accountants.
  • Support the General Manager with financial data, summaries, and group reporting requirements.
  • Ensure timely completion of accounting, tax, and payroll deliverables.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Accounting OR LCCI / CAT / equivalent certificate.
  • Degree holders accepted only if their experience is hands‑on bookkeeping (not audit, not analysis focused).
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping, full‑set accounting, and payroll, preferably in an SME or subsidiary environment.
  • Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and competent in Excel.
  • Familiar with CPF, IRAS, and basic GST requirements.
  • Experience with SAP or other recognized ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Experience coordinating month‑end activities with intercompany finance teams.
