Job summary

A leading events and HR consultancy in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee accounting deliverables and ensure compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate has a degree in accountancy, at least 1 year of experience, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage and Xero is preferred. This role requires the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

Job description

• Ensure the timely preparation of accounting deliverables required by stakeholders
• Ensure all comply with local statutory and GST requirements
• Provide guidance and advice to accounting related matters and escalate these matters to manager if required
• Ensure the timely processing and sending of invoice upon the completion of engagement
• Ensure the timely circularization of AR chaser emails and timely collection of AR

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in accountancy / ACCA equivalent / LCCI
• Have at least 1 years of relevant working experience
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Proficient in using accounting software or ERP system. Proficiency in Sage Accounting, Microsoft Office and Xero would be an added advantage
