Job summary

A finance consultancy firm in Singapore is seeking an Executive to assist the Finance Manager with month-end closing and financial reporting. The role includes handling accounts payable and receivable, preparing cash flow projections, and maintaining documentation. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of relevant experience, a diploma in accounting or ACCA, and strong proficiency in MS Office. Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards is a plus. Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin are essential.

Qualifications

Job Summary

The Executive will report directly to the Finance Manager to Assist in month end closing and full set of accounts for several of Companies. Key responsibilities include data entries, assist in month-end and year-end close processes, and collecting financial data across entities.

Our ideal candidate should demonstrate interest in managing accounting activities, with strong interest in accounting and be able to handle time-sensitive tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist in month end closing and partial or full sets of accounts for several of Companies;
  • Perform Accounts Payable and Receivable, or General Ledger and Fixed Assets functions;
  • Prepare and monitor cash flows projections;
  • Prepare quarterly GST reporting;
  • Prepare and update monthly bank reconciliation;
  • Assist in annual budgeting exercise and other monthly reporting matters;
  • Maintain good documentation and filing system;
  • Other ad-hoc assignments will be assigned to you from time to time.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in the related field preferred;
  • Candidates with higher skill set will be considered for senior positions.
  • Training will also be provided.
  • Diploma in Accounting or ACCA and above is preferred;
  • Proficient with MS Office Applications;
  • Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards (FRSs) will be a plus;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin;
  • Able to work independently as well as a Team;
  • Meticulous, well-organised and good interpersonal skill with positive attitude;
  • Able to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced work environment.
