Job Description
  • Industry/ Organization Type: General Wholesales Trade
  • Position Title: Accounts Executive
  • Working Location: Tuas (Nearest MRT: Tuas West Road)
  • Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday, 8:30AM-5:30PM; Saturday morning work is rare and only required occasionally when necessary)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary + Transport Allowance + Variable Bonus + Medical Benefits
  • Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing, as well as annual financial reporting for a full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and submit monthly GST filings.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents for audits and tax-related matters.
  • Handle the processing of purchase orders and preparation of invoices and/or delivery orders for both local and international customers.
  • Collaborate internally with purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams to track shipment progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of damaged or defective goods received from suppliers and follow up on claims accordingly.
  • Conduct monthly stock-taking and prepare inventory status reports.
  • Manage filing and upkeep of administrative records.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
