A leading engineering and construction firm in Singapore is looking for an accountant to manage a full set of accounts and prepare financial reports. The ideal candidate should possess a diploma in accounting, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Job description

Job Responsibilities :

• Handle full set of accounts for month end & year end closing
• Prepare monthly accounts schedules
• Prepare financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff
• Analyse cost and the actual performance compared to budgets
• Prepare management reports
• Budget planning
• Handle quarterly GST submission
• Tax and statutory audit compliance
• Assist in any adhoc reporting as and when required

Job Requirements :

• Diploma in Accounting
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience and preferably with experience in construction companies would be an added advantage
• Excellent communication skill, both written and oral
• Strong commitment and dedication to strict adherence to reporting deadlines
• Ability to work independently and meticulously with high level of motivation
