About the Client

Our client is a well-established company in the shipping and ship management business, headquartered in Singapore with offices across the region. They are looking for a dedicated Accounts Executive to join their finance team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full sets of accounts for related companies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP).
• Manage bank reconciliations and general ledger entries.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders.
• Support other finance-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software (MYOB or Xero).
• Experience in shipping or ship management accounts is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting and tax regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
