Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join our growing perfume and beauty business. This role will support both offline and online sales operations, ensuring smooth financial processes, accurate reporting, and compliance with local and regional standards. The Accounts Executive will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting, supporting e-commerce transactions, and liaising with retail partners across Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations

• Handle daily bookkeeping, accounts receivable/payable, and bank reconciliations.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense claims accurately and on time.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and assist in management reporting.

Sales & E-Commerce Support

• Track online sales transactions across platforms (Shopify, TikTok Shop, Lazada, Shopee, SiteGiant, etc.).
• Reconcile e-commerce settlements with accounting records.
• Support offline retail sales reporting and commission tracking.

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards and tax regulations (GST, corporate tax).
• Assist in regional compliance requirements for Southeast Asia markets.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies when required.

Business Support

• Provide financial insights to support pricing, promotions, and product launches.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and break-even analysis for new markets.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to streamline processes.

Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in retail, FMCG, or e-commerce.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Singapore tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and Excel.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and payment gateways (experience with SiteGiant is a plus).
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
