Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial activities of the company, including financial reporting, reconciliation, tax submissions, and audit preparations. You will play a key role in supporting the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record financial transactions accurately by entering account information.
  • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile financial transactions in a timely manner.
  • Support the month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
  • Prepare, submit, and file Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns in compliance with statutory deadlines.
  • Analyze and manage Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheets to assess financial performance.
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and variance reports to support financial planning and control.
  • Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors during the annual audit.
  • Provide updates to the Manager or Director on work progress and elevate issues where necessary.
  • Review current accounting systems and practices; propose improvements where applicable.
  • Manage core accounting processes such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
  • Perform daily accounting operations including staff expense claims, vendor payments, and merchant settlements.
  • Assist in special projects and tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support as needed.
  • Undertake any other duties assigned by your superior or management from time to time.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
