A leading equipment supply firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the full set of accounts and daily financial operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in an accounting role, a diploma in Accounting or related fields, and proficiency in Auto Count Accounting software is advantageous. The position demands strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Manages full set of accounts
• Perform daily operations of accounting records and filing
• Processing payments and data entry of others related accounts documents into Accounting System.
• Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
• Liaise with auditors, company secretary, tax agent, bankers, officers of statutory bodies, etc on related matters.
• To prepare and monitor financial activities (AP) of the company.
• To maintain detailed records of the company's day-to-day financial transactions.
• Checking staff monthly claim & custodian of petty cash.
• Take full responsibility for finance and accounting performance as well as monthly closing, ensuring timely reporting with respect of deadline
• Involve in implementing of GST InvoiceNow.
• Perform ad hoc or other duties assigned by superiors

Job Requirements

• Diploma holder or its equivalent in the field of Accounting, Finance, or other related Business Management field.
• Preferably with min 3 years of working experience in accounting related field
• Proficient in the use of Auto Count Accounting software will be an added advantage.
• Hardworking, responsible, positive job attitude, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to learn and adapt quickly to change.
• Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
