Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our Singapore team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the financial management, accounting, and tax operations of the company’s bunker trading business. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax regulations, and effective coordination between finance and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Daily Accounting
- Responsible for full set account including but not limited to General ledger processing / AR / AP/ receipt / payment / reimbursement / accruals etc.
- Assist the Department head in managing all finance-related operations of the bunker trading business.
- Financial Reporting & Financial analysis
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts on timely basis.
- Prepare and assist in completing the annual budget work.
- Coordinate and support the group consolidation related work.
- Assist to provide related information to support the financial analysis and operational analysis.
- Business-Finance Integration
- Support the implementation and optimization of the company’s shared financial platform.
- Promote digital and integrated collaboration between business and finance functions.
- Tax and audit matters
- Manage corporate income tax, GST, Transfer pricing and other tax-related matters to ensure timely and accurate tax filings.
- Liaising with internal and external auditors including information furnish and communication work.
- Other Responsibilities
- Assist in completing various work requirements from HQ.
- Carry out other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience, preferably in bunker trading, energy, or commodities industries.
- Familiar with SFRS/IFRS.
- Experience in tax management or financial auditing is an advantage.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; experience with shared finance platforms is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese as this role player will need to have daily and effective communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
- High sense of responsibility, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Strong ability to handle multiple tasks and able to work under pressure
