Job summary

A Singapore-based financial group is looking for an Accounts Administrator. Responsibilities include daily bank reconciliation, processing payments, liaising with auditors, and addressing discrepancies in financial numbers. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma/Degree in Accountancy, proven experience, and knowledge of Xero. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role in Singapore.
  • Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and debt collection regulations.
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience.

  • Process bank deposits and payments via online banking platform.
  • Contact clients, suppliers, contractors for timely payments.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Perform daily bank reconciliation for entities within group
  • Process bank deposits and payments via online banking platform
  • Reconcile monthly GTO for various mall outlets and financial statements
  • Assist to liaise with external auditor for yearly audit and to provide all required schedules/reports for audit and tax purpose
  • Prepare, send and process invoices
  • Identify and address discrepancies in financial numbers
  • Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable
  • Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets
  • Contact clients, suppliers, contractors and send reminders to ensure timely payments
Requirements
  • Knowledge in Xero is a must
  • Proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role in Singapore
  • Meticulous and independent to perform task without much supervision
  • Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and debt collection regulations
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software
  • Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
  • Good organisational and time-management abilitiesDiploma/Degree in Accountancy or qualifications in similar fields
  • Min 1 year of working experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
