Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial duties such as general ledger, tax, and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience and a Diploma or Degree in Accountancy. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, consolidating accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
  • Perform daily accounting & finance duties including general ledger, tax and bank reconciliation, etc.;
  • Prepare monthly financial and management reports for subsidiaries;
  • Consolidate accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards;
  • Assist in group consolidation reports;
  • To be in-charge of the full set of accounts
  • To do inter-company balances and transactions Reconciliation
  • Monthly bank reconciliation
  • Monthly closing Accounts, schedules, reconciliations and reports
  • To be in –charge of the quarterly GST reporting and submission
  • Other Ad Hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Min 2 years of relevant experiences
  • Diploma / Degree in Accountancy
  • Prior experience in MYOB system would be an advantage
  • Meticulous, independent and has good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in intermediate Excel & other MS office application
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles;
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment;
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
