About the Role

We are looking for Accountant, Gateway Singapore to support the to assist the Senior Finance Business Partner – Asia through accurate accounting operations, timely reporting, and compliance with local statutory requirements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on accounting work and collaborating with stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle full set of accounts including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, bank and inter-company reconciliations
  • Perform month-end closing and ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial records
  • Prepare and process invoices, customer payments, statements, and follow up on outstanding receivables
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports including cash flow and Group reporting
  • Liaise with local tax agents and auditors to ensure statutory and tax compliance
  • Support the Senior Finance Business Partner with reporting and ad-hoc finance projects
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company finance policies
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders on finance-related matters
  • Support inventory processing and monthly audit activities
  • Maintain confidentiality and carry out other finance duties as required
Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience with local tax filing and statutory compliance
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
  • Professional accounting qualifications (e.g. CPA, CA) are an advantage but not mandatory
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and processes
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
